ALIKA is a leading Czech food company specializing in the production of roasted nuts and salty snacks, as well as the packaging of dried fruits and oilseeds. We have been established in the market since 1992.

This positions us among the largest roasting plants in Central Europe. On a production area of 2,000 m², we employ an average of 70 production workers out of a total of approximately 100 employees.

We are proud of our production capacity, which allows us to process more than 6,000 tons of raw materials annually. We place great emphasis on ensuring the health and safety of our products and are regularly certified according to IFS standards. Our production facilities are equipped with the latest equipment and technologies to ensure the quality of our products.

History of the company

For over 30 years, we have been operating in both the Czech and international markets. During this time, we have gone through a long journey filled with successes and challenges. All these experiences have helped us shape the culture and identity of our company.

2022

Generational change in company management

Founder Jana Kremlová has handed over the management of the company to her two daughters, Petra Vránová and Markéta Pavlínová. Petra Vránová serves as the CEO, and Markéta Pavlínová as the chairwoman of the board. These roles were similarly divided between Jana Kremlová and her husband Pavel. Jana Kremlová remains actively involved in the company as a member of the supervisory board.

2020

Quality Council of the Czech Republic Award

The Quality Council of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Association of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs and Craftsmen of the Czech Republic and the Chamber of Commerce, awarded the company an A-level rating. The Chamber evaluates three parameters: the administrative-psychological-legal module, the management module, and the economic module.

2010

BIO certification

BIO certification for the production and sale of organic food. Successful first certification for the production and sale of organic products by the German certification company AB Cert.

2005

IFS and BRC Certifications

The highest-level certification, LEVEL A. The manufacturing plant and its processes were successfully certified for the first time according to strict international standards, allowing the company to produce products under the buyer's private label brand. The certifications are successfully maintained every year, and the company currently only uses the IFS certification, which is required by current customers. The certification body is the German TÜV.

2004

Relocation to Čelčice

In early 2004, ALIKA a.s. began the construction of a new plant in Čelčice near Prostějov for organizational reasons. In April, the company moved from its two previous locations (Smržice and Čelechovice) to larger premises in Čelčice.

2003

The largest producer of roasted products in the Czech Republic

In 2003, the company became the largest producer of roasted products in the Czech Republic. At that time, nearly 100 employees worked for the company.

2001

HACCP Certification

In 2001, ALIKA a.s. received the HACCP certificate from the British company CMI. Production increased by another 15%, and the number of employees slightly grew.

2000

Continued growth

The company built a new facility in Smržice, and in October, an office and warehouse were established in Prague. During the Christmas season, the number of employees increased to a record 60 people.

1998

ISO 9001 Certification

The certificate issued by the German certification company TUV for process management within the company. This was the first successful certification, which introduced multi-level management in a company that experienced an annual sales growth of approximately 35% and transitioned from a small business management system to a medium-sized enterprise.

1995

Expanding the offering

The company specialized in expanding its offering to include packaged dried fruits – pistachios, cashews, almonds, and raisins. The number of employees increased by four.

1994

Relocation to Čelechovic na Hané

The company relocated to new premises in Čelechovice na Hané, where a high-capacity peanut dry roasting line was launched in September 1994 with 12 employees.

1992

Establishment of the company

The company ALIKA was founded by Ing. Jana Kremlová and Pavel Kreml in March 1992. The original aim of the company was to roast and package coffee for the Prostějov region. Production began in October 1992 with an average monthly turnover of 80,000 CZK and no employees. Gradually, two employees were hired, and the product range expanded to include roasted peanuts.
